Year 6 visited South Shields Fire Station to take part in a RAP (Reducing Accidents at Play) event. Throughout the day, the children participated in a variety of informative and interactive workshops delivered by organisations including Nexus, the RNLI, the Police, Fire and Safety teams, and Road Safety officers. These sessions provided valuable information about staying safe in different situations and helped the children understand the important roles these services play in our community. The children were a credit to the school, demonstrating excellent behaviour throughout the visit. They engaged enthusiastically in all activities, taking an active role by asking thoughtful questions and confidently answering those posed to them. It was a highly enjoyable and educational experience for everyone involved.
