The Big Pedal Superhero Day!

6th May 2016A Gill

Superhero Day!

We have taken part in the Big Pedal for two years in a row now. The event, supported by SUSTRANS, encourages staff, children, parents and other family members to journey to and from school by bike or scooter. In 2015 we were the 11th best Big Peddlers in South Tyneside. This year we are 3rd in South Tyneside and 13th in the whole of the North East!

We hold our Superhero day to celebrate and to raise money to say €˜thank you€™ to SUSTRANS for their support.. This year we raised £165. Well done!

Sign2Sing

13th February 2016A Gill

Sign2Sing

On Friday 5th February we joined in with the national Sign2Sing 2016 event, with over 700 other schools. We sang the song for 2016 called Reach out Your Hand. Everyone made a donation of at least £1 for this charity event. The money raised will help the Deaf Health Charity €˜Sign Health€™ to work to give Deaf children the same healthy future as their hearing friends. We hope to have enormous fun practising for sign2sing and being part of it and for helping Sign Health to transform lives. We have been part of this event for 4 years.
